Grandma found out about this train through a patient that came into the clinic. The night I told Dylan about it, I was at their house babysitting and he was so excited about riding on it that he prayed that night that he would be able to ride on it. So for his birthday, I gave him a coupon for a spooky train ride and dinner afterwards and a sleep over at Grandma's. October 30th was the big day to cash in his coupon. We went first to the train ride. The train takes you through several different tunnels that are filled with spooky things and people. Along the way, ghosts and goblins, werewolfs and vampires jump out and scare you. There was even a headless horseman on a real horse.... a very large horse. Dylan sat in the back seat of the train and didn't make a peep. Grandma's the one who screamed like a little girl. Then we went to Pizza Factory where Dylan read the menu by himself and ordered all by himself. He got a small cheese pizza. And I left him to go to the potty and when I came back he was eating the breadstick off the stick. I really got a chuckle out of that. That's really quite a difficult thing to do, if you've seen the size of those breadsticks and the sticks they are on. But he ate the whole thing that way and I just smiled while he did it! Then home to sleep over at Grandma's. We played video games and went shopping for new toys to keep at Grandma's. It was the best date I've had in a very long time!! (Check out the train at stringtown.us - you should go sometime!)
