I want my MOMMY....

......to be healthy and to live forever!!! After a very, very long 2009 of trying to get her correctly diagnosed and treated successfully for NPH.... Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus.....Mom was finally back on her feet again, literally. She had gotten so bad before her final surgery to properly place a shunt to drain the excess fluid on her brain that she was in a wheel chair and couldn't get around at all. But two surgeons, hundreds of doctors visits, three surgeries, and many sleepless nights later they finally got the shunt placed properly and it seemed that all would be well. She has been making baby quilts and exercising a little and making her way back to a healthy life......when BAM!!!!!.... Last Monday night she had a massive heart attack!! They placed a stent and she is steadily improving but it will be another long road to complete recovery.

Long roads that are all uphill are nothing new to this mommy of mine. But she has traveled these roads well and has always come out on top. Words cannot express how much I love, admire and cherish her. She has been a wonderful example of strength, courage and determination. She loves the gospel and her family deeply. And we all love her!!!!
