HAPPY TURKEY DAY >>>>>

We had Thanksgiving Dinner at Cortnie's again this year because Grandma's house is all boxed up and ready to move!!! After lunch - which was delicious!!! - we made pilgrim hats by dipping marshmallows in chocolate and then putting them on a fudge stripe cookie and finishing them off with an icing buckle. Dylan showed us how to make turkeys out of candy and cookies. He learned how to make them at a Primary activity day. We ate lots of icing and made a big mess but had lots of fun. Didn't take little miss Lexie long to learn that the icing was the best part of the cookies. She was taking them apart and eating the icing and discarding the cookies!!!

It's been a challenging year for me and I have been on an emotional roller coaster most of
the year. I just keep thinking how glad I will be for 2010 to be over.... but as I write this I
realize that I need to remember ALL the good things that have happened this year. So
here's my list of things I am so grateful for this year....
Birth of Jordyn Kay Johnson
Marriage of Clay and Kaimee
Mandy and Jon being sealed in the temple
Dylan being baptized
Gavyn starting kindergarten
Lexie learning to say "Vicki"
My great jobs and co-workers
My mom being mobile and able to come to family things.
My dad - for taking such wonderful care of my mom!!!
Not such a bad year after all....... so many wonderful things to be grateful for.
