Ho! Ho! Hooray it's Christmas!!!

It was the year of the pictures..... I gave Brandon these two awesome pictures of his favorite team..... the Utah Utes!!!
A few years ago, I gave Cortnie this same picture of the Timp temple for Christmas... Mandy has always wanted one when she got sealed... so that is what Mandy and Jon got this year.....
And to keep in the tradition of Timp temple pictures for the kids married there..... and to keep going with the picture theme this year..... Clay and Kaimee got this picture.... Brandon helped me pick this out. We thought it was fitting for the couple who got married the day of the "most terrible blizzard in years".

This is Lexie this year ........... and last year!!!!
Can you believe how much she has grown up????

I hate it when people ask what my favorite "whatever" is because I have lots of favorites but if I was to say what my favorite animal is I would say a giraffe. This summer when Lexie went to the zoo she loved the giraffes and she can say "giraffe" perfectly..... so Grandma got her a giraffe for Christmas. She seemed to like it.... but it was hard to tell.... she was in a bad mood on Christmas day.... Maybe she will inherit her Gma's distinct dislike for the holiday.
I asked Gavyn a few weeks before the big day what he wanted Gma to get him for Christmas.
He rattled off a big long name of some game he wanted but I didn't understand a word of what he said. So Dylan wrote it down for me.... I asked his mom if he could have it one day on the phone and she said he already had one just like it. Pretty soon he wanted to talk to Gma. He got on the phone and said he did not have that game already!! and that he really wanted it!!
What's a Gma to do???? I had to buy it for him and he was thrilled.

A couple of years ago Mandy gave Clay a BYU Huggie.... Dylan has wanted one ever since. And the whole time his Mom and Dad were gone to Europe he kept begging me to let him use his dad's book light - assuring me that his dad would never know.....:) So I got him his very own book light - he LOVES LOVES LOVES to read - and his very own boy sized Snuggie! with POCKETS.... He was so excited about the pockets "to hold his remote".

It was a good Christmas. We spent the evening at Brandon and Miranda's and ate lots of yummy food and watched a movie in their awesome theatre room.

But how I really feel about it all..... Ho! Ho! Hooray it's over!!!!! But it will come back next year! UGH!!!!!!
