The Bird Family and Gma Vicki
went to the Brigham City Temple
Open House today.
It was extraordinarily beautiful!!
Lexie and Dyl outside by the fountain.
Lexie is grinning because she is playing in the fountain....

because Lexie is playing in the fountain.
Best part for Gav was the free bottle of water!
Oh yeah...... and the cookies!
This is the tabernacle across the street from the temple.
I love this building! I attended many life changing
firesides here when a teen ager and graduated from
Seminary here. Brings back many good memories.
Outside was as beautiful as the inside.
The "theme" of the temple was peach blossoms.
This adorable design in this window (close up in picture below)
was carved in the woodwork of the doorways, chairs, and in the
carpet in the Celestial Room.
If you look to the left corner of this picture... you will see apple trees.
There were peach trees in the front landscaping as well.
Never seen that before. Kind of different...... but definitely in
keeping with the "theme" of the temple.
My little darlins'..... I love them soooooo much!!!!
Blossom also in the stone.
It is a small temple - only one session room that holds about 60 people.
It was very elegantly decorated inside with
marble, carpets, rugs, antique brass railings and many
very pretty paintings. Such a special place.
So glad we went to see it.
