A Week With Mandy and Reese......

Mandy and Reese came to visit us for a week

from Sept 14th to the 21st!!

They just came to visit and to meet

all the new babies in the family....

our little new Ira and the two new

ones in the Frish Family.

 This is Reese at the airport!!

So glad to see her and she was glad to be off that airplane!

 Saturday morning we went to see Gavyn play soccer.

He did great!!!

 Then we took Reese to "Cookie Cutters" for her

very first haircut!!

 She was pretty good.... but here she is reaching for Mommy!

She would really like this to be over!

 Such a cute place.  She sat in this cute pink car and watched

a video on the TV.

 They even blew it dry.  Reese REALLY didn't like

that.  She really wanted to be done now!!

Her binky saved the day!!

 They even texturized it!!!

 The finished product....... 

SOOOOOO CUTE!

And she got a sucker for all her fears and tears!!

 Monday we went shopping on Main in PG

But sadly all the cute boutique shops we wanted to go to

were closed.  We tried to get a picture of the girls on this bench...

Reese didn't want to have anything to do with that.... but Lexie, 

our fashion model... loved it.. posed beautifully.

 Reese walked all along main by herself.

She is so cute when she walks.  She is VERY cautious!!

Kind of keeps her legs straight and will NOT

step up on anything like a door mat or raised 

area of any kind.  But she is doing great for a brand

new walker.  And those cute little gold sandals!!! How cute!

 Next was lunch at that Grilled Cheese place by Bella Ella...

Lexie and Reese got sunglasses with their lunch box.

 Reese loved her lunch!!  YUM!!! 

 Then we went to Bella Ella's shopping... and Reese and Lexie 

found a marvelous place to hang out....

 Then at Hapari's.... Reese again found something fun to play with.

She and Lexie played and giggled and had a great time.

 Another day..... Gma got a hair cut..... just like Reese's!!

Peek a boo over the couch and she is laughing hysterically!!

She looks so much older than when she moved!!! 

She is such a sweet girl with the best disposition.

I just love love love those chocolate eyes!!

 Thursday we went to the Zoo.

Here Lex is watching the gorilla eat some parsley.

 Reese did not want to stand still and put her arms out.

Again... the little model did just what we asked her to.

 This polar bear swims back and forth and comes up to this window

over and over all day.  Great new area where he lives in the zoo called

Rocky Shores.

 Reese was scared to death of the carousel.  Cortnie took her from Mandy and

forced her to sit on the tiger.... she was pretty unsure of it!!

 This monkey was great!!! Just sat there and let the girls look at him!

 The big world water ball..... Fun how you can see our reflection 

in it as we are trying to get pictures of the girls.

Think Reese misses playing in the water.  It's a daily 

activity at home in AZ.  

 Thursday night we had pizza and played with all the family

at Cortnie's.  Reese wasn't too sure about the tramp.

But she warmed up and soon was yelling

"Jump" Jump" when the kids would stop.

 She loves pepperoni pizza!

 And likes to climb on the swing set!

 Jordyn and Miranda swinging.  Jord likes to go HIGH.

She would say "high" in a very high voice when 

she wanted to go higher.... or she just pats her bum...

a signal that you need to come push her bum higher.

This kid knows no fear.  She loved to jump on the tramp. 

She would land on her nose or on her bottom or wherever

and just get up and keep jumping.  Such a sweetheart.

It was so good to have Mandy and Reese with the family for the week.

We all miss them so much.  But Mandy was very ready to get home to 

Jon!! She missed him terribly and so did Reese.  They flew home with

Brandon and Miranda who went out to the Utes and AZ football game.
