A little bit of everything......

First of all, are J's pigtails the cutest thing ever??
A few months ago, at some family dinner, Lex and J
thought they would go out and ride in the John Deer.
Lex drives it pretty good, but she can't turn so she just drives straight
until she hits something.  But don't you worry, little Miss Independent,
just hops out and hefts up the front of the JD and turns it
in the direction she wants to go next.
J wanted to drive but Lex said "NO!" and so did Mir.
But when they both went inside, Gma let her drive.
(You know, it's that Gparents and Gkids have a common enemy thing.)
You probably had to witness this yourself to appreciate it
but I laughed til I nearly peed my panties.
J almost gave herself a rip roaring case of whip lash
as she darted off each time she hit the gas and
had absolutely NO steering skills.  I finally had to
insist she remove herself from the JD before she did
serious damage to her person, or uprooted some
of Cort's landscaping.

This is how Reese is spending her January!!!!
Out for walks and playing in the water!
I would love to be in a warm place right now.
UGH!!! I hate Utah winters!!!!

Clay, the official family photographer, took these
family pictures of the BIRDS.
Above, our precious Gavyn!! (age 7)
What a joy he is!
 Dyl pickle  -  age 10
 The whole Bird clan!
Oh my heart..... Are they just absolutely adorable??
 Little princess Lexie! age 4

One of the greatest blessings in my life is the wonderful
blessing of having all four of my children HAPPILY
married to absolutely INCREDIBLE companions.
I love each of my "In-law" kids dearly.

Bryan, Cort's hubby, is a hard worker, intelligent and spiritual.
A diligent and doting father that is deeply committed to his
family and the gospel and to keeping our family light hearted
and careful to not get too serious about life.

Miranda, Brandon's wife, is a workaholic that cannot stop
for anything.  She has so much energy and drive!
She works hard and plays hard.  She is, hands down,
the most thoughtful, compassionate person I have ever met.
She is a great Mommy and wife and has many talents
and abilities that I would love to have!

Jon, Mandy's hubby, is the most committed and dedicated
person I have ever known.  He works so hard at his schooling.
And as a father and a husband, he is the most tender,
thoughtful and loving man out there!!  He is so very good
to Mandy and to Reese!  And he is just so damn handsome!

And then Clay's Kaimee, she is a spiritual giant and a committed
mother and wife.  She is kind, warm, authentic, genuine, caring and
so very talented at many things. She supports and loves Clay and they work
so well together as a team.  They are an inspiration to me!

 My Arizona kids......
This is the picture they sent out for their Christmas cards.
This little doll was 20 months old on Feb 6th.
And even though, she didn't crawl until 11 months,
didn't walk until 14 months...
she has the uncanny and amazing ability at this tender age
to recognize all of the letters of the alphabet and/or
the sounds they make (with the exception of L & M - which for some
reason she skips over) Having a Mommy that spends an
enormous amount of time with her and is a school
teacher helps her in this effort.... but even Mommy is
surprised at how smart she is.
