This is the BEST day EVER!!!

I love, love, love, love, love this little girl!! She is so happy and content with life and excited about EVERYTHING!!! Occasionally she is a drama queen and gets a little undone at the seams, but most of the time she is just a bright, happy, brilliant little spot in the world.  She brightens my life immensely!

I go down to Cort's and get the boys off to school on Mondays and then I get to have Lex all to myself until noon when Cort gets off work.  (She cleans the Timp temple) We have a great time putting puzzles together, going grocery shopping, playing with play dough, buying slurpies and Pepsi, and watching TV. Our favorite thing to do on our days together is to go for walks around the temple. Usually I push Lex in the stroller and try to walk fast and get a good work out, but occasionally she likes to get out and walk along the rock walls or see if she can stay on the curb, or pushes her "pets" (stuffed animals) in the stroller.   I treasure our time together!! I hope she will always remember it too!!

She wanted a "pink" birthday
with a unicorn piñata. She had to
settle for a pony instead of a
unicorn but she said that was
"OH TAY" (OK)

Aunt Kaimee made her these darling cupcakes.
(to make them, Kme melted chocolate in an old mustard bottle and
then "drew" the images and letters with the chocolate on
wax paper and then let them set up.  So cute!!)
Jordyn loves Lexie and had to do everything she did!
Putting the horn on the unicorn... It helps if you peek!!
Breaking the piñata.... Lexie's turn first.
She was pretty nice about it...
Dylan....not so nice!! He wanted to get that thing open!
Gavyn's gonna use his super hero powers to break it open!
Once it was open, Jordyn was perfectly happy with just her one
sucker.  She didn't want anymore of the candy.
Lexie is scared of the dark and I totally understand that
because I was horrified of the dark until in my 20s.
So I got her this little lady bug light that shines stars
up on the ceiling...
...... and  a princess sleeping bag cause she brings
the boy's army bags when she sleeps over.
Thought she'd like a girly one.

This family party was on Saturday, the day before her birthday.
We sang to her and then she blew out her candle.
On Sunday, her real birthday, Cort made a cake for her
but she fell asleep before they got to eat it that night.
So Monday, when I went over to get them off to school,
Cort had left her a note saying they would eat the cake that night
when Daddy got home.  Later her and I went to the store and
a lady there asked her how old she was.  She said she was going to
be four.  I said you are already four, remember, your bday was
yesterday.  "No Grandma, I am not four until we cut
my cake and blow out my candles.  Oh yeah, and my
family has to sing to me!"  So I guess our singing didn't count.
She loved her sleeping bag!! Ended the night with climbing in!
