What a wonderful Easter we had this year!
My morning started with a quick walk after breakfast to
enjoy this beautiful weather. Then home to prepare some of
our Easter feast. A quick shower and off to church where
we had an inspiring sacrament meeting worshipping the
Risen Son of God. I played the organ today and am so thankful
for that talent. I'm not the best at it but I do love it.
Around 4:00 the family started to gather.... Gma and Gpa
Shumway .... then the Spencers, the Birds, and the Johnsons.
We ate yummy food and treats..... decorated easter eggs...
had an easter egg hunt.... and did a lot of talking
and laughing and enjoying each other. After everyone left,
and I cleaned up the house..... I called Mandy and we
talked for an hour..... Icing on the cake..
I went to bed with a very full heart. So full of gratitude for my
wonderful children, grandchildren, parents and extended family.
So happy that we enjoy each other's company and we can look
forward to being together. I just love them all so very, very much!
We did miss having Clay and Mandy with us!..
Couldn't get any of the kids to stop hunting long enough to
get a good picture.... except for one short pause by my
adorable little miss Jordyn....
