A quick trip to AZ

Cortnie and Lexie and I took a quick
trip to AZ to see Mandy and Jon and Reese on
April 12th.  We flew out of the Provo airport and it
was quick and easy and as good as flying can be.
I HATE TO FLY!!!  But it was worth the few minutes
of terror to get there quickly and enjoy some time with
my girls!!  We had a great time just visiting and shopping
and eating and relaxing.  I loved the warm weather as
I have seriously hated this winter and am sick of cold!

 Lexie loved that airplane......
Below....we are arriving at the airport in AZ.

This is Reesie with her glassies on just like she likes them.
There was a splash park at the outlet mall.  The least
we could do was let the girls play after we dragged them shopping.
Reese loves the water.
And she loved Mom's cream cheese and
pretzel....
Reese fell asleep in the car (below).....looks so uncomfortable!
Lexie wanted a picture of  her too.... (above)

We went for a drive to see some sights, in order to
let Reese take a longer nap in the car.  We drove
out to see the new Phoenix temple.  It is only a few minutes
from where Mandy and Jon live which we be so nice for them.

Whenever we were in the car, Reese kept looking over
to make sure Gma was still there.  I loved it!!!
I worry that she will forget me or not like me anymore.
She could say Gma and Vicki really well.
And of course we went swimming at the amazing pool !!
Such a great pool.  It is only 3 ft deep in most places
and has one area where there is a sandy beach the kids play
in and walk way out in without the water getting too deep.

This little doll is so timid and shy.   We were at the pool,
when some of Mandy's neighbors  came by armed with some
rather fun toys.  Reese really wanted to play with this dinosaur.
She took the first daring step inside of it.  Then she said, "otay, otay, otay".
Next she slowly lifted it up a few inches at a time, while slowly
standing up and saying, "otay, otay, otay"  with each slow progression.
Then when she had it almost to her waist she would quickly drop it
back down to her feet with a frightful look on her face and start all over again.
I loved watching her try to convince herself it was safe.
My little dolls in their matching jammies!
And Reese with a book..... she loves, loves books!!
 More swimming!

Look at this tan little darling... again with a book.
Picture out by the fun tree that grows out over the water.
This place they live in is beautiful!! They keep it very clean,
wonderfully landscaped.

A view of the Grand Canyon on our flight home!
