Words cannot describe how much I love this little girl.
I love her giggle (sounds a lot like Eeyore) and how after she gets giggling
hard she always get the hiccups. I get lost in her chocolate eyes.
A few Reesie "isms" that I love most:
1. "Gramma, sit down for a minute"
She says this when you put her to bed cause she wants you to sit down on her bed
or when she is reading her books at her table and wants you to join her.
2. "OK"
When you ask her anything.... her answer is never "yes" it is always OK....
3. "That's right"
When she is reading a book or looking at her cards and she doesn't know what
something is and you tell her she says "that's right"
4. "Careful, Reesie."
She ALWAYS talks in first person. She tells herself to do just what Mommy has told her.
If she slips or starts to fall...she says "careful, Reesie"
I took her to the store one day and she was quite unhappy by the time we got
home. It was hot and she was tired. When we pulled into the garage, she
started crying and then she says"be happy, Reesie, be happy" and wiped
her tears from her little cheeks.... so cute!
5. "Ooooohhhhhh"
Anything she's sees that is "tender or small" like a baby animal or baby person
she puts her hands to her heart and says "ooooohhhhh"
6. "that's a twicky one"
When she can't quite figure something out or can't quite do it right,
she says "oh that's a twicky one"....
Went to her music class with her. She really likes to sing
and dance. She knows lots of the songs and sings along very well.
But she does NOT like to sit with her Mommy (or Gma) as the
other children do!! She threw a fit if I tried to get her to sit by me.
Look at those quads..... She usually stands straight up
from the floor without using her hands. It has
really built those little legs. (Jon says it is a Frisch thing)
Gave her a bath or two.... You can see her ABC letters in the tub
with her. She has so many books and games and cards
and toys that have helped her learn her letters.
And she loves to tell you what they are. She knows them
all..... And the sounds that all 26 make!!
We had a little too much fun squirting each other with her
little dolphin toys. I think Mom will have to get rid of those now.
She soaked the whole bathroom with them...
I bought her this water table and swimming pool
to try to beat the heat. It was 110 degrees most of the days
I was there. She loved them both and we had fun playing.
In an effort to get her to "run" through the sprinkler, I tipped the
table over and then would tell her to come see me.
She would run through the water and over to see me....
I would pick her up and swing her around and tickle her
and then put her down and say "go away" and off she would
run through the water again....
When she got to the patio.... she would turn around and
I would again call to her.... "come back"
Of course, after a few repeats of this process she started
I would again call to her.... "come back"
Of course, after a few repeats of this process she started
repeating "Come back" several times and dropping her lower lip in
a big pout until I said "please come back Reesie".
then she would run back through the water to me,
more tickling, teasing, and the process would start over...
It was quite a while before she tired of this game....
It was quite a while before she tired of this game....
LOVE THAT FACE!!!!!!
She loves movies and her favorite part is the music.
She loves to dance and sing along.
She knows the words to many of the songs....
Her vocabulary is just unbelievable for a two year old.
It includes words like armadillo and hippopotamus.
It includes words like armadillo and hippopotamus.
She is priceless.... and the time I spent with her
was priceless..... time I will never forget!!!
Love you Reesie!!
She is one special girl!!! Love her! And she loves you!!!! She talks about you all the time. And remembers things you did together...so glad you could play and be her special buddy/distraction while baby Jensen and I were bonding. :)
