For Jordyn's birthday I gave her a gift certificate for a fun
day with Gma. Because of her Mommy and Daddy's busy
schedule and my crazy work schedule, I just don't get to see
her very often. So I was really looking forward to our day
together. We started our fun by going to Hee Haw Farms
in Pleasant Grove. We got there about noon and stayed until
5 pm when Gma was totally exhausted!
Jordyn rode the ponies twice!! This pony is Lacy and she
was insistent that she got to ride her because she was bigger
than the other horse. She was not at all scared.
Here we are on the hayride out to the corn maze.
We went on two hayrides, this one and another one
to the pumpkin patch where we could pick out a pumpkin.
Along the way costumed helpers threw candy in the wagon.
Jordyn really liked that, but she didn't want to eat the candy
- just catch it!

It was such an amazingly beautiful day!
We are so lucky to live where we do.
I love this valley and love that mountain!!!
Here she is in the corn maze. She was nervous
we were stuck in there. She finally said,
"Gma lets jump out of here!"
I love this picture of her pretty little face.
She loves to swing and this tractor swing was one
of her favorite things. We swung toward the end of our
long day and I think she might have fallen asleep on it
if we had continued much longer.
She really loved these big bunnies!! She was feeding them hay
and bunny number one would get a long piece in his mouth and start
chewing and then bunny number two next to him would grab the other
end and tug on it and chew and pull it away. Then bunny number one
would grab it back and pull and chew and so on and son. Jordyn thought that
was a funny game and she giggled and giggled.

She LOVED the slides. It took her a while to be convinced to try
them. She kept saying she didn't want to get dirty - which was
surprising to her parents when I was giving them the report of the day.
But finally we climbed on the hay and got her to go down once.
Then she was hooked!! She went down a dozen or more times
on this slide. Then we moved to the bigger one (I only have videos
of that slide). She went down without hesitation on the big one,
got up, giggled and wanted to go again. Finally, after seeing that
two year olds were going down the slide without injury, Gma got
brave enough to go with her. What a blast!
She loved her ride around the farm in the barrel train.
Last thing we did before going home was to pick out a pumpkin.
We took it home and decorated it. We also made cookies,
painted her fingernails and toenails, watched
Little Mermaid, and finally went to bed completely exhausted!!
What a great day. I love this little girls sweet voice, her
clear diction, her beautiful face, her imagination, and the way she
had to hold my hand every minute today!
And the best part of the day.......
When we got home and were making cookies, she was sitting on the
counter helping, and she reached out her arms and pulled me into
a huge bear hug and said "You're the Best!!!"
Brought tears to my eyes.
I LOVE YOU, JORDYN!
YOU ARE THE BEST!!!
