I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE MY NEW BIKE!!!
Just to see if I could do it.... I rode the entire Murdock Trail
(along with an extra 6 mile traill that leads off of it in Lehi)
for a grand total of 46 MILES!
Took me almost 4 hours. I was tired when
I was done but was so proud of myself for doing
it. My face took the brunt of the after effects.
It was very sunny and quite warm, so I got sunburned,
especially my forehead and my lips. Added to that
was a good wind burn.... the wind was against me for
about half the ride... making it much harder!!
This is one of my favorite parts of the trail going toward Lehi.
Lots of hills... so fun to go down.... but what goes down must
also go back up!!!! I can do the hills though.... with lots of
self chatter telling myself over and over again.... "YOU are
NOT getting off this bike!!! You CAN do this!!"
This little pond is over in Highland Glen Park.
It is BEAUTIFUL!!! Love to ride over there.
Lexie and I walk over here somedays.
We recently came here and fed the ducks.
Lexie loved it!
Way to go mom! I don't know too many gmas that can go on a 50 mile bike ride! You are awesome! It looks like it has some very pretty stops and sights along the way!
