I LOVE LOVE LOVE the craft room in my current home.
It is so big and roomy and finally organized very well....
(I do, however, wish it was upstairs.... Hate being in the basement!)
My New Years Resolutions involve spending a lot of time
here in the craft room..... I want to get my scrapbooks caught up...
I am 10 years behind.... but determined that I am going to get them
caught up this year. My goal is to get the important events, such as
birthdays, births, blessings, baptisms, etc all scrapbooked.
Pictures of events that are not so "important" I want to get filed
away and organized so that I can find them if I want them.
Also working on organizing CDs with photos on them so things
are stored and backed up from my computer.
Many say that the old fashioned way of scrapbooking is outdated
and I wonder if I should just give up and do the digital thing.... but I have
so many cute supplies and papers and doo dads and I LOVE
the cutting and pasting and creating .... so I will carry on with paper...
I do hope that someday, when I am gone, that these scrapbooks will
be treasures for my kids and gkids. I have worked so hard on them
over the years. All of my four kids have at least 4 big fat books from
their growing up years..... albeit not great fancy ones.... but they are
in chronological order and document their lives very efficiently.
This is the "SEWING" side of the room.
Notice the Pepsi refill and Nilla Wafers....
No craft room is complete without snacks!!!
I have several quilt projects to complete this year as well.
And this is the "SCRAPBOOK" side .....
