On June 8th.... I flew to Arizona and then on Monday....
June 9th....we started our drive to Utah....
A stop at Burger King for lunch......
Not quite ready for a burger.... so had to settle for this....
After our stop here.... we made a wrong turn somewhere
and added a few hours onto our drive.... But the kids were
GREAT!!! So very good.... great drive. Loved being with Mandy
and having her all to myself to just talk and rekindle our friendship.
Reunion with the DNA cousin!!
Miranda, Jordyn, Lexie and Cortnie met us in St George
and we went to the Tuachan to see Little Mermaid...

Thirty seconds in the car.... and she was OUT!!
Jensen went to "show care" during the show and
I was a bit worried about him but he did great!
Next morning..... swimming!!
Jordyn and Lexie..... Such good buddies....
Then we checked out of our hotel and went over to
the St George temple. We walked through the visitors
center and talked to some darling sister missionaries.
Then a stop at Swigs..... My first time there....
BEST sugar cookies ever!!!
This little doll had her third birthday on June 7th.
Mandy decided to have a family party for her while here.
So we reserved Discovery Park and then
we had sandwiches, chips, salads, cupcakes, and lots of wind!!

and put icing all over her face and then giggled like crazy.
Cheating just a bit with the blindfold.... but she is allowed...

I LOVE these three girls.

We were trying to compare Jensen and Ira in size....
but Jensen would not stand on that bark.
But there is not much difference in their size...
Ira is 21 months old and Jensen 10 months....
We played at the Park at my Compound....
Reesie likes to wear my reading glassed...
Which are easy to find..... I have a pair in every room.
She likes these pink ones the best!
We went to the duck pond and fed the ducks.
There were several baby ducks. Reesie loved the babies.
We had to put our feet in the water.....
We watched this cute girl that was fishing and Reesie was
so interested in it. We watched and cheered the girl on...and
then when she caught one we had to go up close and inspect it.
Reese is so smart and perceptive. She just takes in the whole
world around her and eats it up!! Like her mommy did
when she was little....
And this guy..... so so so so pleasant and content.
Gma's favorite time is tubbie time and
putting great smelling lotion all over them when
they are done!!

We went to PG days and let Reesie ride a few rides...

And we were DONE with rides....
Went and got dinner and went to the park...
This ride is a little safer for our cautious one...
On my 55th birthday.... I got these great flowers
from these great kids and their moms...

Such a lucky Gma.
And we went to visit Gma and Gpa Shumway.
They have never met Jensen.
Gma was sadly, pretty out of it. She didn't really know
who we were that day. But I will treasure this picture.
Cort and Mandy and the kids went to my favorite pond to feed the ducks!!

rubbed their noses on the window.... Lexie did it so hard
she got a bloody nose.... Silly girls....
I loved having Mandy, Jensen, and Reesie at my house!
My house has never been so happy!!
In the mornings she would come upstairs and say
"Gma Vicki, you awake? Reesie awake! and the sun is
awake!' One night she woke up sick and came up the
stairs saying "Gma Vicki, where are you? Reesie''s sick"
And when she first came in she kept walking around
saying "Oh Gma Vicki, I love your table. Oh Gma Vicki,
I love your chairs. Oh.... I love your bed.." and so on.
NEVER did she just call me Gma.... Everytime it was
Gma Vicki... She has the cutest little voice and is just so
amazingly smart!! I just loved spending time with her!
And Jensen..... oh my goodness, what a sweet, happy,
pleasant, adorable little boy. He snuggles into your
shoulder when you pick him up. He has the cutest little smile
and giggle.... although he never really lets go and gives
a good belly laugh. When someone, especially girls,
say Hi to him, he turns his head to the side and smiles...
totally flirting!! So fun to love him and get to know him better!
Jon came on June 27th and then they went to Brandon's to stay.
Then they went home July 2nd.... Sad day.
Jon starts his rotations next week. So happy for his success in school.
Love all of them so much!!
