We've been trying for sometime to plan a sleepover at Gma's with
Lexis and Jordyn but just can't ever get it coordinated..
So finally Lexie came by herself to sleep over.
It was so great to have her! She has been so quiet the past
year or so around me that I have felt very sad and thought she
must not love me like she did when she was smaller. And I thought
that our Mondays together while her Mom worked has created
quite a bond between us... but then...as I said she has gotten so
quiet and shy around me (and everyone, actually) that I have
felt sad... but holy cow!!! the minute Cortnie left after dropping her
off... she started talking and she never shut up all night!!
It was great!! We went on a ride and saw the camels in Highland
and bought some ice cream and then came home and watched
Anastasia on TV. Early the next morning Lexie found this new
racetrack I just bought and no one has played with yet..
And she was happy to be the first one to try it out.
It was really fun! We played with it for about 2 hours.
Then we went swimming in my pool for a while....
Then after showers and lunch... we went to pick up Jordyn
at school and then we went to Thanksgiving Point farm to play!!

He was nipping at her legs when she first got on....
Luckily that made her laugh not cry.

We went on the wagon ride....
And the girls milked a cow!!!!!!! Above is Lexie.. Not
a great picture but I promise that is her head and arm!
And below is Jordyn! Lex said it felt like a tongue..
I wouldn't have done that for anything... Yuck!!
But they waited in line faithfully and for quite a few minutes
so they could have first try!
After our fun at the farm we went to the movie.
We saw "Inside Out". It was really good.
Lots of great messages!
Such a fun day with these two. They are so fun
and so energetic and get along so well.
I love being a Gma.
