These are awful pictures ... but I wanted to document the day.
I had to go to McKay Dee hospital for some training today
and since I was all that way north, I called Dad and we met
at Maddox for lunch. It was a great visit. I told him all about Kyle and
as always he was supportive and encouraging. We talked about all
the kids and caught up on all the families and their lives.
He is so very sad and lonely without Mom. My heart aches for him.
But he keeps busy working at the temple and helping others.
He is such a good man and I am so lucky to have had him as a
father figure in my life and in my kids' lives. I pray he can find
comfort and peace for these last few years.
