What the...??

Gavyn had his first solo sleep over with Grandma this weekend. I was supposed to pick him up at 5:30 and all day he kept bugging his mom about what time I was coming. She showed him on the clock that I would be there when the little hand was on the 5 so at 5:00 he put his packed and ready-to-go back pack on his little back and waited. I got hung up at work and it was 7:30 before I got there.... he came to the door with his back pack still on!!!!!!!! We spent one and a half hours at McDonald's eating and laughing and dipping french fries into carmel sauce. He ate his happy meal and half of my chicken sandwich. We stayed up late watching absolutely horrible kids movies until he finally went to sleep at midnight! Saturday we hung out and played games and took our pictures and giggled a lot!!! This kid is so funny and sarcastic. I just love his sense of humor, his "thumbs up" when he agrees with you, his "seat belt on, check!", his love of super heroes and the way he makes me feel like one when he says "I love you, Grandma!!!" What a blessing are these sweet little ones in my life.
