On Saturday Dec 15th.... I had planned a fun day with
the Bird kids to go to the movie, see the Thanksgiving Point
lights and go to lunch while Mom and Dad went to the
temple with some friends and then wrapped presents without
nosy little ones around. But the boys got sick so we had to change to plan
A+ (a good friend once told me you never settle for plan B, you
plan a better plan...plan A+) So.... our plan was changed to just staying in.
I went to the store and bought kits for us to decorate
Rice Krispies treats and gingerbread sleighs.
But when they got to my house the boys were so sick
they didn't want to do anything but lay around and watch TV.
But Lexie felt great and was bouncing off the walls.
So Lexie and I made the RK treats alone.
She had a ball!! And just watching her was a joy for me.
Really concentrating.... this is important work!
She was so proud of herself. She kept saying how much her
family was going to like them.
Definitely a "eatatyourownrisk" treat!
She would lick her fingers every few seconds cause
they got icing on them. I tried to get her to stop but
she just couldn't!! So I finally thought... what the heck!
She's having fun! (and her family will never know:)

On Tuesday the 18th I went to Lexie's preschool to watch her
little Christmas program. She was the cutest one there, of course.
But she was TIRED and she would sing a few lines and then
YAWN this bbbiiiiigggg ssslllloooowwwww yawn.
And then resume singing... It was funny!
Love her! She is such a doll!!!!!!
