We had a GREAT Thanksgiving day bike ride.
Clay, Kaimee, Dylan, Ira and Gma went for a 10
mile ride on the Murdock trail. It was great!
We saw six deer that crossed the trail. We saw a three legged
donkey.... seriously, it looked like he only had three legs as we
approached him. As we came around to the other side of him
we could see his fourth leg... Ha! Ha! We saw many horses, sheep,
chickens and best of all.... a BIG fat turkey!!!
We stopped to feed these goats....
Look at Kaimee's face.... she really didn't want to feed
the goat.... Ira wasn't too sure about it either.
We fed him a rice cake.... but Dylan was like "DUH"
he wants grass... so he pulled up some grass
and they came running...
We thought we should name our new friend....
Something Thanksgivingy... Kaimee suggested "turkey" but
figured people would think I was crazy when I passed him and
yelled "HI Turkey" .... stupid old woman, doesn't know a goat
from a turkey...... Clay suggested "Mayflower"
It was perfect. So forever more as I pass this guy on the
trail I will holler...."Hello Mayflower!"
Ira telling Mayflower "Bye"
Mayflower was so excited to get Dylan's big hunk of grass
that he almost climbed over the fence.
Great ride.... Great kids.... Great family!!! XOXOXOXOX
After our ride we went to Cortnie's for a wonderful lunch and
fun. We made some wimpy countdown to Christmas chains... long
story... major failure on Gma's part.... then we played a little UNO.
Good day.....
Mandy sent me this picture of Reese at her preschool.
She is such a doll!!!! I just love her!!
The happiest little Indian ever!
