AZ visit

Kyle and I went down to Arizona in January to get out of the cold.
Tried to go bowling.... Not a great success.  Jensen had little patience for waiting his turn.
This is the "stance" Reese took every time after rolling the ball. She would stay in that pose until she saw the results... then jump around and either be smiling or frowning.
This little button was a gem while we bowled and for the whole trip.  Sweet little girl!

Jensen loved the bowling... he just didn't want to have to wait for his turn..Every ball was his and every turn was his.  Life is hard sometimes!

Took the kids to Home Depot to get some new fans for Mandy's house.
(Fans which Kyle lovingly installed)
Had fun playing in the carts.... silly faces.
Discovered that 4 year old Jensen can read.... At least the words "dog" and "cat".
We were looking at this book and he said "Dog" and then "cat" and I'm looking at the picture wondering where he is seeing a dog and cat in it. Then I realize he has read the words.
Incredibly smart kid!

Took these two home to our hotel with us.... Here we are at breakfast.
Reese eating a sugar packet or two.... and Jensen has poured the sugar into the cups and is dumping it back and forth.  Grandparenting is awesome... Don't give a hoot what they do...They are cute no matter what!

LOVES his pancakes...
Below Reese has moved from sugar packets to licking the syrup out of the cup!

Jensen LOVES any park.  He really likes to climb and explore and loves
to play with either the sand or the wood chips.

Me and my wrinkles at "my desk".  I must stay busy while we travel to I take along this desk
and work on crafts or things on the computer or whatever I can find to keep my hands busy.

These kids love to eat and they know their fast food.  Reese wanted to go to Culver's (which she pronounce Cul i vers) and they especially enjoyed their ice cream.  Jensen wasn't too sure about sharing with Gma but finally gave in.

Gpa Kyle took the kids swimming at the hotel.  Kind of a fun pool... has a waterfall at the left side.  Kids had a blast.  Gpa took pictures with his water camera.  Got some good underwater shots.

Kyle's brother, Shaun, lives in Gilbert AZ and his parents were down there staying to get out of the Utah cold... so we took these two kiddos down there to visit.  They loved playing with the dog.  He is still just a puppy and very playful.  Jensen just giggled and giggled at everything he did.  They threw the ball and frisbees and played fetch for a long time.

Because Jensen is a man of very few words, he wouldn't tell the dog to stop or go away when the dog would bite on his shirt.  And because the dog is a puppy, he just wanted to play.  Jensen would get a little scared and even cried a little when the puppy latched on but he would go right back to playing with him as soon as he let go.

Look at that face!!! It says it all....."I love this puppy!"
And five minutes in the car and this is what happened.

Bath time fun!  Tubs getting pretty crowded!

Gpa Kyle to the rescue to save a very tired baby who refused to fall asleep at church.

Reese introduced us to Pie Face.... First turn of the game was mine and first crank of the handle and look what I got!!!!

Gpa's turn!!! Gotcha!!

Mandy stayed clean the whole game.

Reese dodged it a few times and the whipped cream hit the floor..... Cheater...

But she got hers in the end.... Or in the forehead. :)
