Kyle and I had the day off and no plans....We were so glad when Clay
and Kaimee and kids wanted to come over. We got about 12 inches of new snow
the night before and it was so great to go play in it!
Eme and Grace
Grace does not like the snow! or to be cold!
Here they are building a little snowman...
The rest of us built this guy..... Proudly named "Ira Perry" after Ira.
Pretty awesome snowman!!! Complete with charcoal eyes and
Oreo buttons and of course a carrot nose.
At first we didn't have a mouth... just put eyes and the nose on...
But Ira said "where's his smile?" so of course we had to find
little rocks to make a smile.
Not sure why Grace had her tongue hanging out the whole
time we were out playing. I think it was because she was trying
to catch snow flakes. Both the kids LOVED Gpa Kyle's four
wheelers. Even more fun than riding on them was being
pulled behind them on the sled. The only time Grace showed
any emotion while we were outside in the cold, besides obvious disdain
for the cold and snow, was when she was being pulled behind the
four wheeler. Then she squealed and giggled with delight.
We had our own little sledding hill in the front yard where
Kyle had moved the snow from the driveway.
Then time for some inside play. Gma got some new bridges and other accessories for the race track. Good for a long playtime.

Tried to keep the little ones busy playing games and watching Netflix cartoons
while the big kids played games.
The days following were filled with more snow....
And rain... that kind of melted our snowman and
misplaced his parts..... Oh my!
Poor Snowman.... buried in the snow that just keeps coming!
