THANKSGIVING 2015

Kathy's daughter Heidi.... pictured above with the glass in her hand....
hosted three refugee families from her ward for Thanksgiving.
They invited me to join them and it turned out to be a wonderful
event.  All three of these families have been deserted by their
fathers.  The mothers are trying to make it work for them here
in the United States.  They all work very hard to get by.  They are
all members of the church and quite faithful.
I believe this family (above) is from Guana.
On this table is (left) Tim's Mom, Logan, Gpa Shumway, Kylie,
Kathy... (right from front) Tim's Dad, Tim (Heidi's husband),
Tim's Gma, and then another refugee family.
One family at the front of this table and another at the back left.
You can see Alan, Tim and Heidi at the back
Heidi had done some really pretty decorations and fun things for the kids
to do.... art projects and these cute props for pictures...
November 26th is Kathy's birthday and she has shared it
with Thanksgiving day many years.... Today was her birthday
and Heidi made her a cake.
